Job Title: Field Geologist

Reporting Office: Pune, Maharashtra

Job Summary:

We are seeking Field Geologists with strong geological expertise, problem-solving skills, teamwork abilities, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct geological and geo-morphological analyses, stratigraphy/lithology, and create geological maps

- Assist and execute field surveys, geophysical/geological exploration, and geo-technical investigations

- Collect primary/secondary data and baseline data

- Plan, execute, and prepare project plans and related documents

- Analyze geological/structural/hydrogeological frameworks and aquifer characteristics

- Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians

- Other tasks and responsibilities as allocated by the management/team lead.

Requirements:

- Postgraduate degree in Geology/Applied Geology/Engineering Geology/Water Resource Engineering/Earth Sciences

- Minimum 1 year of field experience in Hydrogeology, Structural Geology, and Petrology

- Strong knowledge of geological survey methodologies

- Proficiency in QGIS, MapInfo Pro, Microsoft Office, RockWorks, and other relevant software

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills

- Extensive knowledge of geological data analysis and interpretation

- Ability to prepare study narratives, documents, and case reviews
